Have you tried the pound cake? Because it’s taking a break!

Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Our Cream Cheese Pound Cake is one of Flo’s Original recipes.  The cream cheese is creamed up with with the butter and a dash of almond extract is added to a small, nutty flavor.

Flo traditionally made this for our family every Easter as a Lamb Cake in the old fashioned pans. Normally covered in her signature butter cream frosting, we offer this on its own to be enjoyed any way you like. Try it with berries!

We have our Cream Cheese Pound Cake available at our events for $5 per quarter size… but this will be the last week it’s available until after Thanksgiving! Don’t worry! You can contact us to order a full tube cake for $17 at anytime.

New updates!

As we didn’t start the business until late-August of 2014, we had no idea what to expect going into Farmer’s Market season from day one. HOLY COW!! We apologize for the lack of updating to our site, but we’re now taking care of it and plan on maintaining this appropriately! Beyond baking up our tasty treats non-stop, there’s really no excuse.

A few of the things you can find updated on our site:

  • more photos in the side gallery of our goodies
  • up-to-date schedule of events
  • new menu items added, including a section listing our growing gluten-free menu

Flo’s Bakery now has Twitter!  Follow us @FlosBakeryMi for updates and a bit of humor!

Pardon our dust, thank you for your patience, and thank you for supporting us!

New item! GLUTEN FREE Granola Bars!

Gluten-free Granola Bars

Here it is!  The first in our up-and-coming line of gluten-free items!

As with all our items, these bars are made from scratch.  Brown sugar, honey, and coconut oil bind together the gluten-free oats, shredded coconut, dried cranberries, raisins, and flax seed all together.  We’ve sprinkled the top with mini-chocolate chips because…. chocolate!

Our bars are best stored in your refrigerator to hold their bar shape.  Allow them to soften out in room temperature air for yummy, chewey, goodness!
